A Tropical Beach Wedding at Marco Beach Ocean Resort in Marco Island, Florida

Ashton Henderson and Marc Theodore tied the knot with a bright, tropical fete at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort, where they got engaged. The pair exchanged vows at sunset with their toes in the sand under a wood arch draped with tropical greenery, then ushered guests indoors for dinner and dancing. Tall arrangements of oversize monstera leaves added tropical elements to the ocean-facing dining room, while gilded chargers and warm candlelight paid tribute to the venue’s classic vibe. The bouquets perfectly captured a fun, Floridian feel with a fresh mix of roses, king protea, tropical leaves, craspedia and various pods. The couple paired their table numbers with corresponding childhood photos, and Natasha recorded a song she’d written herself, “The Girl You Think I Am,” for the father-daughter dance. “He and I have always had a special bond, and he’s always been my biggest fan,” Ashton says. “It was a truly unforgettable moment that he and I will always remember together.”
